BUGA – Dreams of blossoms come true
Finally, after ten years of preparation the Bundesgartenschau (garden and park exhibition) in Schwerin has been opened by the German president Horst Köhler on 23th April 2009. In beautiful sunlight uncountable flowers, a real magnificence of blossoms, has been established by 450 exhibitioners on a surface of 55 hectares. Until October 1 beetle Fiete, the mascot, is happy about interested visitors and the sun invites you to promenade through the lovely grounds. Real highlights are the newly designed garden of the palace and the “swimming meadows”.

The hotel „Tarnewitzer Hof“ is located about 700m away from the new „Radlerhotel“. The latter is in 150 m of distance to the beach of the Baltic Sea and was opened in July 2005. Our hotel disposes of 14 double rooms and 2 single rooms, which were equipped affectionately. Each room has a TV set and a radio/CD player.
